Tie Me Up

While my trip to Florida approaches (not quickly enough- 24 days, but who's counting) I've been dreaming of some new, warm weather clothes. This JOA Front Tie Skirt is at the top of my list!

Drybar Hairdryer Review

So a few days ago I asked everyone's opinion on whether or not a quality Blowdryer was worth the investment. I debated it for a few days and ultimately decided to bite the bullet and go for it. My thought process was that it was something that I would us everyday so I could justify spending some money on it. Plus I think the health of your hair is so important because there really is only so much you can do to correct damage.

It arrived early the week and I was dying to try it. Let me just tell you- it's worth every penny! It dries incredibly quickly (I have ridiculously thick hair and it would take me forever, in the past) and actually makes your hair softer. I'm not exaggerating when I say that when I finished I actually felt like I had been to Drybar. If you're contemplating this purchase, I say go for it!

Here Comes the Sun

While the snow is falling, here in NYC, I've been dreaming of warmer temperatures. I've been reaching my limit with good old winter over the past few weeks (I mean, this Polar Vortex business needs to take a hike) and have been craving a nice warm vacay. So earlier this afternoon a few friends and I decided to bite the bullet and book a little trip to Florida for St. Patrick's Day weekend. I'm beyond thrilled, all I need are some temperatures above 25 degrees and I'm a happy girl. (That's not an exaggeration either, Saturday we have temps around 45-50 degrees and I felt like we were in the middle of a heat wave).

So it's no surprised I'm already scouting out some new loot for my trip. Here are a few items I think I need to purchase

With this trip now on the books, and a few other fun plans in March (hello Claire's bachelorette party weekend!) I'm starting to feel like Spring will be here before I know it. Take that Punxsutawney Phil!
